The eleventh edition of the National Hospitality Awards was held on Tuesday. The event took place at the Liceo Theatre in Salamanca and was attended by Jose Ramón Fernández, Managing Director of Elmar Frozen Food, and Jorge Vello, Management Control Director of Pescapuerta.
The Spanish Hospitality Federation (FEHR), an institution formed by provincial, regional and national hospitality associations, organises the National Hospitality Awards every year to recognise the work of establishments, companies and institutions that have stood out in very different aspects, such as innovation, social responsibility, support for culture, sustainability, commitment to people with disabilities... and can be considered an example for the sector, for their contribution to enhancing hospitality and providing good role models.
In addition to the Awards, the jury awards a series of recognitions to different bodies, personalities and institutions that stand out for their collaboration with the sector and for their actions aimed at promoting and revitalising the national hospitality industry.
A dinner was held after the award ceremony, and as members of Club FEHR, we were given the opportunity to collaborate with products from our Elmar brand. This allowed guests to try four delicious dishes, which were Stuffed hake, Crispy fish skin, Cuttlefish parcels and Enokis with baby squid.
