The Fishing Accelerator organisation made the most of the Conxemar trade fair in Vigo to hold its Demo Day, corresponding to the last phase of this first edition. A day dedicated to presenting the projects in which the four participating companies - Mascato, Orpagu, Opromar and Pescapuerta - have been working alongside the technology start ups that were selected.
At this event, Xoan Martínez, the main promoter of this initiative, took the opportunity to make a brief presentation of Fishing Accelerator, the first global accelerator in the fishing sector with 100% private funds. Xoan was in the best possible scenario with the presence of many operators in the fishing sector, who were able to discover some of the projects and see firsthand how they will come to fruition thanks to the efficiency and speed in finding answers. All with the intention of encouraging as many companies as possible to register for the next edition, the call for which is already open and it will get underway in January.
In our case it was Jorge Vello, Management Control Director at Pescapuerta, who was in charge of informing about impressions on our participation in Fishing Accelerator and the good results achieved alongside the two start ups with which we continue working, Palinox and Avanzare. Both innovation projects, which are still under development, are aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of our product, which is perfectly suited to our holding company's philosophy.
